The Joy of Giving and Receiving

My sister once asked me how could I stand to make such pretty cards and then give them away.  My answer is while I love making cards, I love the reaction people get when they receive them.  Thank God for the gift He gave me to create such joy.

Holidays Around the Corner!!

Back from Disney World!  Had a wonderful time in Orlando.  My little girl has finally outgrown Magic Kingdom.  Thankfully she is still excited about the Disney Cruise.  If she outgrows that, I'll have to go alone, I'll never outgrow it!!  Halloween this weekend, and it's snuck up on me since I was picked for a case in jury duty this week.  Deliberations to conclude tomorrow, then I'll have to scramble for a costume before she realizes that she doesn't have one yet:)  Have made a few cards since I got back and I hope you enjoy them!

Excited about going to Disney World!!

Only 6 more days and my little girl and I will be going to Florida to visit all our Disney friends!!  I love Disney World and the Disney Cruise is the best trip in the world.  That will come next year.  Here are a couple of more Christmas cards.  I really need to get cracking on these cards.  I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of friends asking for cards.  Hopefully this weekend I'll get more of them done.  Love all the bloggers I follow, their cards are amazing!!!

Holiday Cards

MORE CHRISTMAS cards that I made for a friend at work and an anniversary card I made for my boss's parents who are such wonderfully nice people.  Had to take my little girl to the emergency room with strep throat and I can't wait for her to feel better.  Spent 4.5 miserable hours there.  I hate seeing my babies suffer.  Making cards and scrapbooking has a way of cheering me up when I'm feeling down.

Christmas Cards!!!

My favorite time of year is approaching and I just LOVE making Christmas cards!!!!! I've bought so many stamps for this season. Lily of the Valley is one of my favorites. Magnolia and Penny Johnson stamps on the way! Can't wait to get them. I wish I had more time to make cards. I have so many new things I want to do and I've been inspired by so many cardmakers that I now follow. Well, here are some of mine, hope you like them.
